Sound Therapy

Reiki Drumming

Since ancient times drumming has been used to aid healing due to its therapeutic benefits. Reiki Drumming in its current form originated in the 1990's by combining the therapeutic effects of the drum with the healing power of reiki. Reiki Drumming is a healing modality made up of techniques that promote holistic healing and all round health and wellbeing.  Reiki Drum  sound therapy includes healing. journeying and meditation/Emotional Reprogramming. Research has shown that drumming increases Alpha brainwaves which increase our feelings of wellness and accelerates physical healing.

Reiki Drum Healing Therapy

The Reiki Drum Healing therapy is similar to a Reiki session but begins with agreeing a healing intension which is then followed by drumming into the energy field around the body.  The sound vibrations and resonance of the drum as it is played moves energies to enable healing.  This is then followed by a hands on Reiki session. The drum enables a deeper relaxation, lowers blood pressure, heart rate and reduces stress hormones.

Reiki Drum Journeying

Reiki Drum Journeying is used for seeking answers to question or clarity on a specific matter.  It is also used to enable you to meet your spirit guide, find your voice or retrieve a lost part of yourself. This technique facilitates a state of altered consciousness to enable access to the information in the subconscious that is needed for change/answer a question. It is exceptionally empowering and healing.

Emotional/Mental Reprogramming

The aim of reprogramming is to change negative thought patterns and habits by placing a message into the subconscious and focusing the mind on achieving a positive goal or mindset. Drumming facilitates an energetic shift which positively affects the subconscious mind. The drumming  part of the therapy is then followed by a hands on Reiki session.

Sound Reiki

Sound reiki combines the energy healing of Reiki with the healing sound vibrations of various sound therapies such as chimes, tuning forks or singing bowls.  It promotes relaxation, reduces stress and pain, and enhances overall health by using the healing properties of sound and vibration to enrich reiki healing, harmonising the body, mind and soul.

Biofield Sound Therapy

Biofield Sound Therapy, also known as biofield tuning is a holistic modality that utilises sound vibration to resolve imbalances in the body's electromagnetic energy field or biofield.  This influences overall health and wellbeing by helping to alleviate emotional and physical stress and support the body's natural healing process. The treatment uses specifically tuned, non-weighted tuning forks to create the sound vibrations needed to clear the biofield.

Vibration Healing Therapy

Vibration Healing Therapy, uses specifically tuned, weighted tuning forks to help clear energies to support health and wellbeing through supporting the bodies natural healing process. Vibration therapy uses weighted forks which have less sound than non-weighted tuning forks and a higher vibration.  This is placed directly on to the body and the vibration passes through. This can be done with either Chakra healing for overall wellness or with specific injuries/illnesses, each utilising different vibrations specific to each need.

Crystal Singing Bowls

Crystal singing bowls are an increasingly popular tool used in sound healing and meditation practices. These bowls are made from quartz crystal and produce a deep, resonant sound when struck or played with a mallet. The vibrations and frequencies emitted by these bowls can have therapeutic benefits on the body, mind, and soul and enhance the bodies natural healing processes.

Tibetan (metal) Singing Bowls (coming soon)

Tibetan singing bowls  are typically made from a combination of metals, often including copper, tin, and sometimes other elements like silver, gold, or iron, and are hand-hammered into shape. When played, Tibetan singing bowls produce a rich, resonant sound that can vary depending on their size, material, and how they are struck or "sung" (by rubbing a mallet around the rim). The sound frequencies and vibrations are believed to have therapeutic effects on the body and mind, promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and helping with physical healing.

Sound Bath (coming soon)

A sound bath is a meditative and therapeutic experience where participants are immersed in soothing sounds, typically created by instruments like singing bowls, gongs, chimes, crystal bowls and/or tuning forks. These sounds are designed to help induce a deep state of relaxation, reduce stress, and promote healing.

The concept of sound therapy is rooted in the idea that sound vibrations can impact the body and mind at a cellular level. The different frequencies produced during a sound bath are believed to help balance energy, reduce tension, and promote mental clarity.

During a sound bath, participants will lie down, close their eyes, and simply listen to the sounds, allowing the vibrations to wash over them. The session typically lasts anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, and it can feel like a profound sensory experience. Many people report feeling deeply relaxed, sometimes even experiencing altered states of consciousness, after a sound bath.

Sound baths can be experienced as a 1:1 session or as part of a group session.  1:1 sessions will usually take place in a therapy studio, whereas group sessions will often take place in a room or building that can fit multiple people.  For a group sound bath you will usually be required to bring your own mat, pillow and blanket plus anything else to make you feel relaxed and comfortable for example; an eye mask.

Meditation and Breathwork

Focus the mind, nourish your body and soul

Meditation is a practice that involves focusing the mind to achieve mental clarity and emotional stability.  Combined with breathwork, this is a beautiful, calming exercise to create calmness in the body, reduce stress, reduce anxiety and improve mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing.

There are various meditation and breathwork techniques that will be used to help you achieve your healing and wellness goals.  Regular meditative practice will help train the mind to detach from reflexive thinking and improve mindfulness whilst regular breathwork practice will help you to remain calm in anxiety provoking or stressful situations.

Meditation and breathwork can be done in a sitting or lying position, whichever you find most comfortable.

Group bookings can be taken.  Please enquire with your requirements.
